Privacy Policy

Rickenbacker Resources, Inc. (“RR”/”we”/”us”/”our”) is committed to and respects your privacy. However, due to the nature of the Internet, computer systems, communications networks, and numerous other factors, we cannot and do not guarantee absolute privacy and that your information or data will never be lost, misused by someone other than us, altered, missent, or that no unauthorized third-party will obtain access or ever receive it. This is NOT a secure site and we have not employed any security measures to protect data. We have not implemented any protective safeguards regarding the access, use, processing, encryption, disclosure, or authentication of any information available on this site or that you make available to us through it. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies only to this website and not to third-party sites to which we are linked or the service providers (“providers”) who we retain to provide various services relating to the operation and use of the site. You should refer to those other sites’ own privacy policies to learn how they may collect, use, and retain information and data about you. RR is not responsible or liable for the content, transmissions, data collection, or privacy practices of any third-party sites.

This website uses cookies to enhance website performance, analyze website use, and to assist in our marketing. These cookies may be persistent and reside on your computer until you delete them and/or on a discrete temporary session basis only when you are using the site. You may have the ability to disable the use of cookies through your browser settings (or alert you prior to accepting them), but disabling or refusing to accept them could compromise the performance of this website or prevent you from accessing all of its features.

This website does not collect PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION (“PII”) from you, which means any type of information that could be utilized to identify or be readily associated with you while using the site. Examples of PII include, but are not limited to, your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address, or any combination thereof. The only PII we collect is the information that you choose to voluntarily and directly send us via a link or registration on this website or through e-mail or other electronic message.

We collect and use this PII for our business purposes only, which may include marketing, promotional, analytical, and statistical uses and store it within our system for a potentially limited period of time. We do not use this PII for any other reason except as stated in this Policy and, as a matter of routine business practice, do not sell, share, or otherwise disseminate your personal information or data.

However, there may be limited instances when we share, disseminate, or transfer your PII to certain third parties. For example, if we reorganize, sell, or transfer all or a portion of RR’s assets; or undergo a merger with another entity; or are acquired by a third party, we may transfer your PII to the new, joint, or successor entity as part of the transaction. If we go out of business, enter bankruptcy or receivership, or experience any other insolvency event, your information could be considered an asset that would be transferred, purchased, or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge and agree that such transfers may occur in these types of limited situations and that the transferee may decline to honor any commitments we made to you pursuant to this Policy, and may also have different privacy terms and practices.

We and/or our providers may automatically gather certain information from you and store it in log files. This type of automatic collection does not require you to voluntarily provide information to us. These files may contain data such as your internet protocol (“lP”) address, browser type, device identifier, operating system, internet service provider, date/time stamps, and other data. This information, among other things, allows us to track statistics, site usage, and trends on an aggregate basis. Your IP address is a unique series of numbers that identifies each computer connected to the internet. It can be used to provide information such as the date and time of your visit, the availability of certain requested files, the popularity of various site functions, and the amount of information transmitted to you from a site.

We and/or our providers use your IP address for, among other things, addressing the frequency of your site visits and determining how often certain pages and functions are accessed. As a particular computer is identified rather than a specific user, no PII is disclosed. We do not routinely attempt to match or link your IP address to any PII that you provide to us. But in instances where we, in our sole discretion, suspect or determine that the site is being used for any unacceptable, inappropriate, or illegal purposes, PII and other information relating to your use of this site and our services may be disclosed to other parties as we deem appropriate.

We do not actively market, target, or direct our efforts to, or knowingly collect PII from, children under the age of thirteen (13) years. This site and our services are intended for use by adults only.

For any questions about this Policy or our information collection practices, please contact Maureen Rickenbacker at maureen@rickenbackerresources.com.
